so out of place.

i don't belong.

anywhere.

failing. and falling.

and i feel so alone.

as always.

but everyone is watching.

just that. watching.

watching me fall.

and flail. and drown.

alone. and nothing more.

their eyes don't really see me.

nobody really does.

and this is how i feel.

this melancholia is ever-present.

VANS WARPED TOUR IN INDIANA [Wednesday
June 28th, 2006 at 10:45pm]
Vans Warped Tour in Indiana. I'd really love to go, because there are quite a few more bands I'd love to see there who aren't coming to Chicago (AFI being the main one).

Plus, I just want to get OUT of the Chicagoland area for a concert just for a day, because I think it'd be fun.

If you'd be at all interested in attending the Indianapolis Warped Tour with me, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let me know. (Maybe you'd like to go to Indianapolis instead of Chicago?)

Indiana's Warped Tour is on July 28th. The drive is a bit over three hours, but I'd be driving, and I'd love you forever if you accompanied me. It'd mean a lot. I'd like to take a sort-of vacation with friends, however short it is. I think it would be fun, and I hope you'd think so, too. Please get back to me ASAP.

Love, Mal. :]

OH, and another bonus? Tickets to Indiana's Warped Tour are CHEAPER than Chicago Warped Tour tickets!

So. Last week was quite terrible, as I so very keenly predicted. That goddamn accident just really was the cherry on top. I think my learning of The Juliana Theory's break up was like, the ice cream in the sundae.

But. This week hasn't been too bad. It looks like my mom and I have already found me another car.

Same kind. Another Prizm. Only it's beige. And has NO visible physical damage, unlike the car I have now, which had a cracked bumper when we got it.

AND. The speedometer actually works on this new car.

I THINK we're getting it. It's not for sure yet. But my mom seemed pretty positive earlier today.

    Goodbye, savings account.

What's the nicest thing anyone has ever done for you?: Well, one time Gomez bought me a Rocky and Bullwinkle movie from the thrift store for no reason. Stuff like that is always really lovely. And probably this past birthday, JD sent me flowers. It was so sweet. Hee.

    I LOVE SNOW!!!!!!

I always forget how much I love it until it comes. And glistens all magnificently. It gets me every time. Now, see, if only I had my cool rockabilly boy, I'd be able to walk around with someone in it, possibly have a snowball fight, and the like. THEN WE COULD DRINK HOT COCOA AND SWING DANCE BY FIRESIDE.

    That would be effing sha-mazing.

Sigh. WHERE IS MY ROCKABILLY KID. SEND HIM NOW, DAMNIT.

    ..Please? :D

    Dear Santa...

    Dear Santa,

    This year I've been busy!

In April I helped [info]theupandthedown across the street (6 points). Last Saturday I gave [info]life_on_hold a kidney (1000 points). Last month I got in line at the supermarket at the same time as someone else and I didn't yield (-8 points). Last Thursday [info]mr_liver and I donated clothes to the needy (11 points). Last Wednesday I ate my brussel sprouts (1 points).

Overall, I've been nice (1010 points). For Christmas I deserve a toy train!

    Sincerely,
    locket__love

    Le'Sigh.

I just made up my mind that.. I will settle for no one less than a..

    Brian Setzer-lovin', James Dean-adorin', 1950s stylin', antique car-drivin', swing-dancin' cool rockabilly cat.

...The antique car is optional, though encouraged. And by "cool rockabilly cat" i mean, a "cool rockabilly boy".

That was my realization of the day.

Every time I see either of my cats curled up on the floor in front of the vents, I always want to run up and hug them. There's just this sense of complete serenity that surrounds them, and I seem to think it'll just somehow jump to me if I just lay beside them.

Plus they're just so darn cute, it's hard to resist running up and cuddling them.

Man, animals know what's goin' on. They find the warmest spots to sleep. They don't have too many worries.

    It's a pretty sweet life.

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is why animals are absolutely amazing!

They know how to work AND take time to 'smell the roses'.

    Goblet of Fire = Amazing.

They did leave a good chunk of stuff out, but in my personal opinion, they did a pretty damn good job of explaining the movie.

I mean, as the books go on, they get thicker. IF you haven't read the books, you can't expect the filmmakers to feed it to you through the movie. Some things, to understand them, you just have to read the books.

All in all, amazing movie. I loved it, and I've seen it 3 times already. :D

AND. I love the Weasley Twins. Or, as they're known in real life, James and Oliver Phelps. WHY ARE THEY SO ADORABLE!?

I also got a new computer because the other one fried.
